Every beat in this one is Konteks, a self-taught producer out of Manchester who built a following on instrumental hip-hop before the algorithm decided lofi should sound like furniture. He is best known for "City Samba" and for the beat under blackwave.'s "Bittersweet Baby". The set runs on dusty jazz loops, warm round bass, and drums that sit a fraction behind the grid — the mid-90s boom-bap end of things rather than the ambient wash most study mixes drifted into.

The visual is a single still: an indigo GameCube on a tiled floor, cel-shaded in flat 90s TV-anime style, the orange power LED the only warm thing in the frame. It does the same work the title does — you are meant to remember something. I put this on when I want beats with actual sample crunch instead of a rain layer over a piano loop. The tracks run short, so you get through a lot of them before you notice the mix has come back around.
