Haunted House — Halloween Ambience & Spooky Sounds
A layered haunted-house soundscape rather than a jump-scare reel: wind moving through a derelict building, a storm somewhere outside, floorboards settling, the occasional clock. The individual elements are quiet and widely spaced, which is what makes it usable for three hours instead of three minutes. It runs as a party backdrop, but it works better as writing atmosphere for anything gothic.
The honest note about seasonal horror audio is that most of it tries far too hard — organ stabs, screams, a laugh track of ghosts. This one mostly withholds, and withholding is where the dread actually lives. If you like the Silent Hill and Alien entries here for their emptiness rather than their scares, this sits in the same place with a pumpkin on it.
