Silent Hill F - Full OST Soundtrack
Silent Hill f released in late 2025, the first new mainline entry in the series since 2012 and the first to be set in Japan rather than the American Northeast. Akira Yamaoka returns as composer alongside Kensuke Inage, with vocal contributions from dai and xaki. The score keeps Yamaoka's industrial-meets-melancholic palette but folds in shamisen, taiko, and traditional Japanese vocal techniques to match the 1960s rural Japan setting around the fictional town of Ebisugaoka.
I went in skeptical because long-running franchise revivals usually go badly. This one mostly delivered. The horror is more grounded than the abstract dread of SH2, but the music does the same thing: gorgeous melodies hiding under industrial layers that you don't notice are in your head until they already are.
