Baldur's Gate 3 — Peaceful, Relaxing Ambience & Music

Gaming1 track

Benevolent recorded this while playing through Act 2 in late 2025 and admitted in the description that the fights kept slowing the capture down. That is roughly the texture of the result: someone moving through Faerûn at a normal walking pace, the score fading in and out as the zones change, no editing pass to force everything into one mood. Two hours and forty-nine minutes, the longest Baldur's Gate 3 mix on the site.

The runtime is the whole argument for it. Most game-ambience uploads run an hour and start repeating right when you've settled in; this one outlasts a working afternoon. The trade-off is that the dynamics wander — Act 2 is the Shadow-Cursed Lands, so the pleasant stretches keep getting undercut by the low uneasy writing from around Moonrise. I leave them in. The tension is mild and it stops the whole thing flattening into wallpaper.
