Baldur's Gate 3 — Official Ambiences by Larian

Larian released six of these on their own channel in September 2024, an hour apiece — Relaxing At Camp, Underdark Unwind, Hag Hut Hangout, Monastery Moment, Swamp Serenity and Relax In Rivington. Because the audio comes from the studio's own mix, the layering is what the engine actually does in play: the campsite hour has a stream running and wildlife crossing the stereo field instead of one bed looping every few minutes.

The strange part is the reception. The most-watched of the six sits around thirty thousand plays while fan-made BG3 mixes clear a million, which tells you more about how people find this stuff than about the recordings. They're still worth keeping — nobody else has source audio this clean. Underdark Unwind is the one I return to: dripping water and a low glowing-fungus drone, almost no melody in it at all.
